OLIVET, MICH. – The Trine women's volleyball team defeated Olivet College by three sets to zero. While Trine finished the match as a sweep, Olivet kept each set close (25-21, 25-22, 25-20).

Freshmen Emma Gaff (Hamilton/Hamilton) and Madison Munger (Indianapolis/Franklin Central) led the way for the Thunder, as each tallied nine kills in the match. Munger also accumulated an impressive .318 hitting percentage.

Munger was also tied for the most digs on the team along with fellow freshman Lindsey DeCamp (New Haven/New Haven), both of whom finished the game with ten. Gaff was just behind the pair with nine digs of her own.

Junior Raven Hood (Monroe, Mich./Airport) led the team in assists with 20, while senior. Samantha Ihrie (Kendallville/East Noble) was second with nine.

The Thunder next take the court on Friday, Sept. 15, at 7:00 p.m. at Bluffton University.
