GREENCASTLE, Ind. - At the two-day DePauw University Tigers Invitational, the Trine University volleyball squad split the weekend winning twice on Friday before falling twice on Saturday. The Thunder are now 5-8 on the season.

In the opener, the Thunder cruised to a 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-22). In a rematch from earlier in the year, Trine was able to dispatch Rose-Hulman in straight sets 3-0 (27-25, 25-18, 25-22).

Saturday wasn't nearly as kind to the Thunder as they fell to host DePauw 3-0 (25-7, 25-17, 25-23) and Marietta 3-1 (25-17, 25-17, 21-25, 25-16).

Junior Carly Searles (Levering, Mich./Petoskey) was named to the All-Tournament team.

Trine returns to the court for an MIAA match at Saint Mary's on Sept. 17 at 7:00 p.m.
