ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Trine guard Ian Jackson its Player of the Week in men's basketball for games played through Dec. 16.

Jackson, a senior from Indianapolis, Ind. (Perry Meridian HS), earned Player of the Week honors for the second straight week as he poured in 34 points and dished out six assists in leading the Thunder to an 82-65 nonconference victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene. Jackson made 11 of 14 shots from the field (79 percent), including two 3-pointers, and was a perfect 10-of-10 from the free-throw line. Jackson is being honored as Player of the Week for the second time this season and sixth time in his career.
