Yoder comes to Trine as a pitching coach. He was the pitching coach for Eastside High School in Butler, Indiana from 2017-22, where he is also an alum. He pitched for Valparaiso from 2013-16 and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Bryce and his wife, Kaci, have a daughter, Maisyn and are expecting another in October 2024.
