Shawk joins the coaching staff after spending last season at Bluffton University as a volunteer assistant.
 
Shawk is an alumnus of Bluffton University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Strength and Conditioning and Exercise Science. Shawk was a three year member of the Beavers track and field team where he was a three-time HCAC Champion in the 4x400-meter relay. Shawk will work with the Thunder’s long sprinters and mid-distance athletes.
