ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University track and field and cross country program has announced the addition of
Megan Theismann to it's coaching staff. Theismann previously worked in the admissions department for Trine and now makes the switch to athletics.
"We're very excited to add an alum and former MIAA Champion to our coaching staff," said Head Cross Country Coach
Zach Raber. "Megan has first hand experience of our culture and the standard of Trine Univeristy Track and Field and Cross Country. She brings a wealth of experience to share with our athletes and I can not wait to see where she will take our distance groups."
Theismann joins the coaching staff in a full time role after spending last season as a volunteer assistant focused on recruiting. Theismann worked in Trine's admissions department, beginning in June 2025. Prior to that she operated her own running club in Fort Wayne, focused on working with youth athletes.
Theismann is an alumna of Trine University, where she was a 1.5-year member of the Thunder cross country and track & field teams after transferring from Indiana Tech. During her time at Trine, Theismann was a multiple-time conference champion in track & field. Prior to Trine, she was a member of Indiana Tech's cross country team that qualified for the NAIA National Championships and was also a member of the Warriors' national qualifying 4x800-meter relay team. Theismann will primarily work with the Thunder's long-distance athletes.
