BUFORD, Ga. – The Trine University women's triathlon team nearly swept the Collegiate Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) Division III All-Region team for the recent East Regional. They garnered six members in the team out of a possible seven.

The top seven finishers in each division are named to an All-Region team. The Thunder had the top six finishers in Division III, with Tessa Szymanski leading the way. Hailey Sills, Lia Bartholomew, Ella Bartholomew, Carmen Blaine and Aubrey Metzger all reached the All-Region team as well, finishing in that order.

Sills was also named the East All-Region DIII Freshman as the top finishing true freshman in the division.

The Thunder will next compete when they travel to Tempe, Arizona for the 2026 USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships. That event is scheduled for Sunday, November 8.
