INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Trine University Women's Bowling team bowled the first baker 300 game in program history in their final regular season tournament this past weekend at Royal Pin Western Bowl.

The magic came in game 12, when the team of junior Abby Wagner, freshman Livia Montgomery, junior Kyla Peterson, freshman Ragan Mathis, and senior Megan Timm all struck to shoot a perfect 300 game, which is the first in women's program history, and only 2nd baker 300 in Trine history. The men's team accomplished the same feat in 2017.

The women had a high team game of 1050 lead by sophomore Alissa VanHorn's 256 and senior Megan Timm's 241, but sophomore Karley Chouinard led the way shooting 1004 for a 5 game average of 200.8 and placed 42nd out of over 100 bowlers. The women wrapped up day one in 19th place. A 15 game average of 207.8 helped the Thunder climb five spots on Sunday. The 14th place finish moves the women to 12th in the country headed into post season play. Megan Timm wrapped up her senior year with the women's program high average for a full season at 198.7 for 41 games.
