ALBION, Mich. – The Trine University women's wrestling team was overmatched by their hosts from Albion College falling in all four contested matches and dropping the remainder for a final score of 44-0.

The first contested match of the day was the only one not to end in a pin. Jenna Thompson was defeated by tech fall at 131. Madison Small, Hailey Budney and Ashton Francis each were pinned in their matches.

Members of the team will next take to the mats when they travel National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championship regional round which will take place in Tiffin, Ohio on Saturday, February 22.
