TIFFIN, Ohio – The Trine University women's wrestling team competed at the Tiffin Duals falling in a pair of competitions during the day.

They opened competition with a 31-7 loss against the University of Mount Union. The lone contested victory for the Thunder came at 145 where Hailey Budney scored a pin against her opponent at the 3:51 mark of the match.

The team's second match was a 41-8 loss to Alma College. Rayne Snyder won by forfeit at 180 while Madison Small picked up a 6-2 decision at 138.

The Thunder will continue their season hen they travel to the D3 National Invitational hosted by Augustana (Ill.) University next weekend beginning on Saturday, February 8.
