Rob Hoffman enters his third season as an Assistant Coach in 2019-20 as a member of the Thunder women's basketball coaching staff.
Hoffman was a part of the turnaround for the Thunder as a student assistant from 2013-16 which ended with Trine making it to the conference championship and having two second-team All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association award winners.
After graduating from Trine in the spring of 2016, Hoffman took a graduate assistant position during the 2016-17 season with the Florida State University men’s basketball team. During that year, the Seminoles went to the second round of the NCAA tournament. He worked with a trio of players who were drafted to the NBA in Jonathon Isaac, Dwayne Bacon, and Xavier Rathan-Mayes.
Hoffman returned to the Thunder in the fall of 2017 and continues to work towards a Master’s degree in sport management through FSU.
