Boys Basketball Varsity Team Camp
The Trine men's basketball team will host a Varsity Team Camp for high school student-athletes this summer.
The 2017 Trine Men's Basketball Varsity Team Camp is scheduled for Thursday, June. 14 on the campus of Trine University. The one-day camp is open to players in grades 9-12.
Two certified officials for each game and each team is guaranteed three games. Main floor games will be filmed and copies will be provided to each team. Full use of all facilities including state of the art film room and weight room.
The cost of the camp is $175 per team.

Hoosier Basketball Boys Camp
The Trine men's basketball team has announced dates for the Hoosier Basketball Boys Camp this summer.
The overnight camp will be held Sunday, Jul. 8 through Wednesday, Jul. 11, 2018 on the campus of Trine University. The camp is open for boys basketball players ages 8-17. Campers will receive individual instruction from the Trine coaching staff in groups based on age and ability. Campers will also have the opportunity to compete in tournament and league games. At the conclusion of the camp, participants will receive a certificate, t-shirt, camp basketball and various camp awards.
Cost of the camp is $299 for overnight campers and $249 for day campers. Overnight campers will stay in air-conditioned, apartment-style housing with counselor supervision.

Trine finished the season 12-14 overall and made the MIAA Tournament semifinals for the seventh-consecutive year. The Thunder produced two All-MIAA performers, including one first-team member and the MIAA Defensive Player of the Year.
Girls Basketball Summer Shoot-out
The Trine women's basketball team will host its fifth annual Summer Shoot-Out Friday, Jun. 8, 2018.
The one-day, 24-team tournament will begin at 9 a.m. in Trine University's MTI Center. Both varsity and JV divisions will be available. Registration is limited to the first 24 teams to sign up. All participating teams are guaranteed at least three games. Registration is $185 per team and is due by May 20.
Each game will feature two, 20-minute halves. The games will feature a running clock except for the last minute of the first half and last two minutes of the second half. IHSAA-licensed referees will work all games.
Girls Basketball Prospect Camp
ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Trine women's basketball team will hold a prospect camp for high school basketball players on July, 17, 2018.
The one-day prospect camp will be held in the MTI Center on the campus of Trine University. The camp is open to young women entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2018. The session is limited to the first 50 players to register. Early registration is $50 (due by June 12) and same-day registration is $60.
The prospect camp is geared towards high school aged players looking to take their game to the next level. Campers will receive instruction from Trine women's basketball coaches and players and will participate in drill work, competitive games and attend a college admission/recruiting seminar. All participants will receive a camp t-shirt.

Trine Football Camp
The Trine football team has announced a one-day summer camp to be held in July.
The camp is scheduled for Sunday, July 15, 2018 with check-in and registration beginning at 5:15 p.m. Campers will receive instruction from the Thunder football coaching staff. The camp will consist of instruction without pads. Helmets are optional. The camp is open to players entering grades 11 and 12 in the fall.
Cost of the camp is $15 per camper in advance. Campers should bring cleats and gym shoes.
Trine concluded last season 11-1 overall (10-0 regular season) and were the MIAA Champions with a 6-0 mark. The Thunder produced one All-American, five All-Region performers, had 15 All-Conference selections, including the MIAA Offensive and Defensive "Most Valuable Players."
Trine Thunder Girls Lacrosse Camp
The Trine University women's lacrosse team will offer a summer camp open to girls lacrosse players ages 14-18, the team has announced.
The camp runs from Monday, July 30 through Wednesday, Aug. 1. The camp begins with check-in from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. on July 30 and will end with check-out at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 1.
Campers will receive instruction from college coaches with an emphasis on position training, advanced skills, and small sided play. Campers will also be coached through team concepts, scrimmages and a high level of competition. All sessions will be held on Trine University's Shive Field, home of Thunder lacrosse.
Overnight and commuter options are available. The commuter option includes four meals with a cost of $250. The overnight option includes two nights of lodging and six meals, with prices of $275 for goalies and $300 for field players. All campers will receive a reversible jersey as a part of their experience.

Thunder Volleyball Camps
The Trine women's volleyball program has announced dates for several upcoming camps, with different options available for different ages and levels of play.
The Thunder will be hosting four camps this summer. The camps will begin with the first of two camps geared toward high school players. The Overnight Advanced Skills Camp will be held Saturday, July 14 - Sunday, July 15. Participants will receive eight hours of position-specific instruction spread across three sessions. Specific instruction is available for setting, attacking and defensive skills. Cost of the camp is $150 for an overnight camper or $125 for a commuter. Meals are included in the camp fee.
The second camp geared toward high school players will be the "Get Ready for Tryouts" Camp held on Sunday, July 29. The camp is designed to provide in-depth training of a particular set of skills with game-like situations at the end of the season. Position and skill-specific session are available for attacking, setting, defense, passing and service. Cost of the camp is $50 per camper.
The team's Middle School Day Camp will be held Monday, July 23 - Wednesday, July 25. The camp will run from 9 - 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. The camp is designed to give campers a well-rounded knowledge of the game and will include basic skills, position understanding, technique, movement work, and an overall flow of the game. Cost of the camp is $130, or $150 with lunch included.
The team's final summer camp will be their Youth Camp, geared toward athletes in grades three through six. The evening camp will run from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 23 - Thursday, July 26. The camp is specifically designed to introduce young athletes to the sport of volleyball in a fun and motivational environment. The cost of the camp is $40.

Baseball Youth Camp
The Trine baseball team will host a youth camp on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 for those in grades 3-8.
The one-day event will be divided into two sessions, both focusing on different aspects of the game. The first session will consist of infield and outfield skill work as well as hitting and will run from 10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. The second session will involve pitching and catching skills as well as hitting and will run from 12:45 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Those interested can sign up for individual sessions or the whole day. The costs of the camp will be $30 per individual session or $45 to participate in both sessions.
Baseball High School Camp
The Trine baseball team will host a high school camp for grades 9-12. The camp will be held on two dates, Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 or Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017. Both camps will run from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Both camps will be held in the Ketner Sports Center and the ARC on Trine's campus. Hitting, pitching and defensive areas will be the main skills area of the camp.
The cost of the camp is $90 and includes a t-shirt.
Softball Hitting Clinic
The Trine softball team will be offering a pair of hitting clinics intended for softball players ages 10 and up. The clinics will be held Sunday, Nov. 12 and Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017.
Both camps will be held in the Ketner Gymnasium in Hershey Hall on Trine's campus.
Each clinic costs $50 individually. Participants can receive a $40 rate by signing up for both clinics and paying up front.
Softball Players Clinic
The Trine softball team will be offering a players clinic which will take place on Sunday, Feb. 25.
The camp will be held in Hershey Hall on Trine's campus.
The general afternoon session (1:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.), which is open to players 12 and up, costs $85. Catching and pitching sessions are available in the morning at a cost of $30 each. Catching and pitching spots are limited to 30 players.
Thunder Wrestling Clinics
The Trine wrestling team will host a series of clinics this summer.
Clinics will be held on 10 Sunday dates beginning May 21. All clinics will take place between 5 - 6:30 p.m. Every clinic will include instruction in technique as well as a live spar session. Clinics will be led and coached by Thunder assistant coach Tom Hall, as well as a variety of college wrestlers at various weights.
Cost of each session $10. Participants can also book all 10 camp dates for $70, paid in advance.

Trine's wrestling program and coaching staff has produced four NCAA Division III All-Americans, as well as 11 national qualifiers. Fourteen Thunder wrestlers have earned Scholar All-American honors from the National Wrestling Coaches Association.

Men's Basketball Elite Camp
The Trine men's basketball team will host an Elite Camp for high school student-athletes this summer.
The 2017 Trine Men's Basketball Elite Camp is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 5 in Hershey Hall on the campus of Trine University. The one-day skills camp is open to players in grades 9-12. Players will receive drill work in stations, participate in competitions and have the opportunity to work in five-on-five situations. A tour of Trine University will be included.
The camp is designed to give student-athletes the opportunity to showcase their talent in a collegiate atmosphere. The cost of the camp is $75 per player. Cost includes a reversible jersey.

Campers will have the opportunity to learn from a coaching staff that has led the Thunder to six consecutive MIAA Tournament appearances. Trine produced the MIAA Defensive Player of the Year and two All-MIAA performers last year.
End of Summer Tennis Camp
The Trine tennis teams will host an End of Summer Camp for youth this August.
The camp takes place August 7-11 on the campus of Trine University. Camps are open to tennis players of all ages. Campers will be separated into three age groups: kindergarten through fourth grade, grades 5-8, and grades 9-12. Camp instruction is geared to instruct players of all ability levels.
